Nice to meet you!
immersed in the corporate world in London for many years led me to a journey of discovery, a journey that would compliment my life and help me deal with the stresses that came with being in such a sensory overloaded environment, both in work and in life.
There my journey began. In 2003 I took a leap of faith and discovered the world of holistic health, albeit in many forms, and felt I had absolutely found where I belonged. I loved how it affected me on every single level and was so keen to share this with others, those that perhaps needed to be nurtured, to be acknowledged or just to be listened to, like me. It became my solace in a corporate world.
I began my training in holistic massage at the acclaimed Academy of Natural Health, London under the guidance of Anna Saunders. As part of my journey I was exposed to many different practices, ranging from deep tissue massage, Thai yoga massage, subtle energy/ chakra work, Indian head massage, on-site massage, Shamanism, HIV immunity care to name but a few. A few years on I also became qualified in level 2 reiki and holistic pulsing, bringing my work to a truly integrated medium.
My path then took a slightly different route, particularly after my own experiences of pregnancy, birth and motherhood. I began to develop a very keen interest in women's health during this time, from the very early stages of conception through to the post-partum period and beyond. Being an area so close to my heart and one I had (and still have) such a strong connection to, I wanted to offer the support that I found so difficult to find during my own pregnancy. I continued my holistic training in pregnancy massage & care, with Midwife and Shiatsu Master, Suzanne Yates (founder of Well Mother), focusing on pregnancy support from both an Eastern and Western perspective.
Wanting to build and expand my knowledge in supporting pregnancy, and to keep the link between Eastern and Western methods, I then continued my journey in Clinical Aromatherapy and Oriental Medicine with the world renowned Gabriel Mojay at ITHMA – the Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy. Wanting to primarily combine this practice with my pregnancy work I soon realised it would also support many more people throughout their lives, ranging from infants through to those in later life, adding an incredible dimension to my work by connecting in a much deeper and more rounded way.
As a result of all of my combined experiences I work very inclusively connecting with intuition and care. I am incredibly passionate about my beliefs, my ethos and how I can nurture and provide support on an on-going basis.
My journey from the beginning to where I am now has been an incredible one of self-discovery and awareness, for which I am thankful to the universe for showing me the way.
